The University of Helsinki, established in 1640, is the oldest and one of the largest universities in Finland. No scholarships are awarded during the first academic year.

Students who successfully complete 120 ECTS credits during their first and second academic years may receive a 50% tuition fee waiver in the third year.

In addition, students who enroll during the early admission period may be eligible for an Early Bird Scholarship of up to 50% off the tuition fee.
