Institution Overview

XAMK, or South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences, was established in 2017 and operates across four campuses located in Mikkeli, Kotka, Kouvola, and Savonlinna. It is a large institution with over 12,000 students. XAMK offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in fields such as technology, business, health care, and the arts. The university provides 8 bachelor’s and 2 master’s programs taught in English.

Each year, more than 600 international students from over 60 countries enroll at XAMK, making it a truly international learning environment. The university is also recognized for its partnerships with European universities and its leadership in four main areas of research and development.
