Institution Overview

Trento University was established in 1962 as the Institute of Advanced Studies in Social Sciences, later becoming Italy’s first Faculty of Sociology. The university’s priority is to deliver top-quality education and research that meet international standards and address student needs. Trento University offers a wide range of bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs, many of which are taught entirely in English. Since 1997, it has been located in the stunning natural environment of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its breathtaking beauty.

The University of Trento in Italy offers scholarships for 2024 available to students pursuing bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Both international and European students are eligible to apply. Applicants can apply without submitting IELTS language test results; however, some countries’ Italian embassies may require proof of English proficiency.
