The University of Messina (UniME) is located in the city of Messina, Sicily. Founded in 1548, it is one of the oldest universities in Italy. Casa Unime is an innovative initiative by the University of Messina (UniME) designed to assist talented students from Messina in paying their rent. 

Students who have a rental contract of 10 months or longer with the Messina city administration, as well as students residing under other city administrations in Italy or abroad, are eligible to apply. Each year, scholarships amounting to 350,000 euros are awarded to qualifying students.
